I wanted to see how many other Oppo people have custom plates (also this is my first attempt at a scheduled post so let's see how it works).

The story behind mine is that back when I still had mounting holes for a front plate (thanks Texas) I wanted to put something different on the front than a regular Texas license plate. So I bought a black license plate with a blue biohazard sign on it. I ended up kind of making it a theme with the car, so all the accents on the car are a lightish blue. Even though I no longer have the front plate anymore, I think it is a unique plate, so I decided to keep it. Plus I can now just say that because I work in shallow hazards it makes sense. So Oppo, what plates do you have, and what do they mean?

(Also, I am aware my left tail pipe is hanging low. I need to get it fixed.)

I have an idea for one I want. "BLU W4FL" on my blue SRT-4. Many of my friends have nicknamed her the blue waffle, I'm just not sure it'll pass through Texas' system.

I have a few in mind for when a get a car this sumer
"SKITTLE" is what I'm most likely gonna get
"TAILG8R" is another possibility
"SIESTA" is another one (rhymes with fiesta)
"HOTHACH" again, fiesta
"W8UPBRO" for the lulz
"BRNRUBR" is a good muscle car one
"SUPAFST" superfast, simplified
"4DALOLZ" for the lolz or Ford(a), lolz
"TURBOI4" turbo inline 4, or turbo buy 4 (cheesy but works!)

It will and has. Someone had this a few years ago, and it was in Texas I believe. They'll never know.

Friends of mine all have vulgar plates, most of the time they just say its a nickname or has to do with their job.

Obvious movie reference to Simon Pegg's "Hot Fuzz". Because police car.

This one has the best back story. Basically, I was trying to think of plate ideas for this car...I was flying around some back roads in my home town, and a buddy called me (who up until then hadn't seen my car in person yet) and said, "Hey, I just saw some car go by in a yellow blur, was that you?" And thus the plate was born.

My screenname on various sites/forums.

That's a good one. And I have a Magnaflow catback on mine which is pretty close to having no muffler on it. It is a hair dresser special though so I'm not taking the cats off it since they sound like absolute crap straight piped. My set up tho does sound pretty damn good for a V6 though, according to many people that have told me so haha.

i dig it. when we dumped my buddies '07 gt i tried talking him into swapping a v6 bumper...it didn't happen. he bought lights, and wheels, and all kinds of shit instead.
